Nesting Baskets
| The work “Nesting Baskets” is symbolic of nest/basket forms as they exist in the physical or abstract realm. Every place holds its history, the unchangeable past of its diverse visitors. Each nesting down for their view of forever and the lands view of one breath. The forever visitors interact with their host, which gives nourishment and life for them to enjoy. Created baskets to gather the life giving gift of the plants and everything that has allowed us to evolve together. Nets to catch the gift of the water with all its wonderful nourishment and beauty. Nests that nurture and house the next generation of visitors, of all types, so that they may grow into a gentle culture in our hosts’ world. Nests to nurture a culture that wishes to grow in a stronger well balanced direction. Nurturing the arts to show and give us the beautiful pleasures and the unexpected creations of us, the visitors. The suns’ life giving rays that make up a creative gift of light
and its wonder; growth from this wonder into our baskets feeds our ‘nests’
to foster a new growth, the new growth that everything needs to have
a successful future. With every tree and its new leaves every spring,
with every new drop of water within each rain for all the rivers and
oceans, a new warming coat of hair every winter for all of us mammals,
and a new growth of our culture for a more sensitive interaction with
