The major in computer art and design leading to the B.F.A. degree is designed for students who wish to use the potential of the computer in the development of art toward either avocational or vocational interests. Those students majoring in and intending to follow a career in computer art and design will be preparing for entrance into the visual communication fields of either computer art, computer animation/interactive media and/or graphic design.
All students majoring in Computer Art and Design will complete the art fundamentals and art history fundamentals courses and a concentration of 36 hours in Computer Art and Design in either graphic design or computer animation/interactive media for the B.F.A. degree.
